Casino New Brunswick: weekend review
Last revised · facts verified
Moncton's Casino New Brunswick opened in 2010. Its 126 rooms start at a roomy 440 sq ft, with windows that actually open onto the city or the mountain. Add a pool, an on-site concert venue, free parking and pet-friendly rules, and it's Atlantic Canada's casino hotel.
Ideal for: Maritime road trippers bringing a dog, with Magnetic Hill and Hopewell Rocks on the route.
Look elsewhere if: Room service or a wide choice of restaurants matters to you.
Why book it
Casino, hotel and entertainment centre arrived together in Moncton in 2010. Great Canadian Entertainment operates the complex — the Atlantic Canada casino hotel to know.
Rooms worth asking for
Bigger than the casino-hotel norm. Deluxe King: from 440 sq ft. Deluxe Two Queen: from 490. Both get high ceilings, windows that open, 300-thread-count sheets, walk-in showers and a city or mountain outlook. Suites: Studio at 590 sq ft, Luxury at 795, and the fifth-floor Marquis with two bathrooms and a private balcony.
Booking and check-in require a guest of 19+; children can stay but not enter 19+ areas. Room service: not available at present.
Friday night on the floor
Blackjack, baccarat, I Luv Suits, craps, roulette — plus "the Lighthouse", a private poker room open Thursday to Saturday evenings. New slot titles landed in December 2025 and March 2026. Rewards Club costs nothing and discounts the buffet and gift shop.
Saturday: dinner, then a show
Two choices only, both 19+: The Buffet (Wednesday–Saturday; Ribs & Wings Thursdays, AA Prime Rib Fridays; members save a few dollars) and Hub City Pub on the floor. Concerts happen at the on-site Molson Canadian Centre.
Sunday morning, slowly
Pool and gym, with supervision required for under-12s.

Our call
Room size, a pool and a pet policy make it an easy road-trip night. Eat at least once in town; on-site choice is thin.
