B.C. casino-hotel weekends
Last revised · facts verified
BCLC manages British Columbia's casinos and the Independent Gambling Control Office oversees them. Entry is 19+, and since June 2023 B.C. casinos ask everyone for government photo ID and check it against the restricted-entry list. Our two Lower Mainland picks couldn't be more different: one a full transit-linked resort, the other a small hotel beside a local casino.

River Rock Casino Resort
No Canadian casino hotel is easier without a car: Canada Line trains reach YVR in about seven minutes and downtown Vancouver in about eighteen. Add 396 rooms (some very large suites among them), Canada's first Gordon Ramsay Steak, a water-slide pool and a riverside marina.
Cascades Casino Resort
Gateway's Langley City casino, with the 77-room Coast hotel next door. Strong steaks at ATLAS, round-the-clock gaming and free parking — no pool, no theatre.
